Private matters should stay private

Posted by jtsmyth8 on September 9, 2008

I don’t know about you but some things you just shouldn’t do in public. Public displays of affection, too much skin, and more but this takes the cake. Let’s see, last month he got caught “trying to have sex with a park bench”, and now he got caught “pleasuring” himself on a bus, umm, did I miss anything? I don’t know what this says about some one’s mental state. I guess when you’re on tv you think you are entitled to pull a Pee Wee Herman because you think you are famous.

In other news there was a “mentally ill woman” who tried to strip and disrobe during the Beijing para Olympics. As you can imagine the Chinese government probably doesn’t believe the special Olympics deserves the same kind of security. Maybe it had something to do with a Tibet protest? Who knows maybe she had “Free Tibet” written on her chest and we just didn’t get to see it. Long story short, keep your clothes on kids, I don’t care what political message you have to share. If it’s important you should be able to get your message across “with” your clothes on.

Did Jade Seah say “Fuck” on live tv?

Posted by jtsmyth8 on August 20, 2008

Sure sounded like it. But why did she say it? Was it really that irritating for the incorrect feed to display when she was talking about something completely different? I think this sheds a bit of light how Miss Jade Seah talks off camera. Probably a true foul mouth beauty queen.

“According to reports, the 25-year-old former beauty queen-turned-TV presenter had blurted out what sounded like the f-word after she introduced a diving segment featuring China’s synchronised divers Wang Feng and Qin Kai.

The visuals shifted from a shot of Seah in the studio to the wrong footage – that of a basketball game instead of the action at the Water Cube.” (story)

Silver is golden for Feng Tianwei

Posted by jtsmyth8 on August 19, 2008

The silver medal around Feng Tianwei’s neck last night was the fulfilment of a long-held dream of her late father, Feng Qingzhi.

Mr Feng died from multiple sclerosis in 2002, just weeks before his daughter was to try for China’s national B squad.

She topped the qualifying matches and earned a national team call-up in 2003. But she fell ill for a long spell and a source close to her said it was ‘because she missed her father too much’.

Friends described Mr Feng, a granary worker, as a doting father who never once scolded his only daughter.

‘All the neighbours who watched Friday’s semi-final said it was a pity he did not live long enough to see his girl play in the Olympics,’ said another person close to the family, who live in the north-eastern city of Harbin. (story)

Beijing Olympics a showcase of beach bodies in bikinis

Posted by jtsmyth8 on August 15, 2008

Did you watch? Admit it. You did because of the scantily clad women dancing and diving around in the sand. If you aren’t a fan of beach volleyball you should be by now. Believe it or not, these women are true athletes. Trying jumping and running around on a sand court for 30 minutes and see how tired you are. On top of that deal with the sand getting into … difficult to reach places. TV stations got the formula right. Women + bikinis + beach = viewers.

“Sure, the President was there to cheer on the US’s Olympic champions (Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh). Truth is, though, that even on that rain-sodden day, gawping at colourful bikinis on “beach babes” sure made a nice break from running the world. One wisecracker welcomed Bush’s appearance saying the world had been a safer place for a few hours. But that’s another story.

“The bikinis make a perfect match with the athletes’ tanned skins and slim figures,” says Liu Rong, a 26-year-old Chinese fan who also sported a yellow bikini at the China-Switzerland match.

“For me, wearing a bikini is the best way to show my beauty and support for our sporting stars.” (story)
