“DUE to overwhelming response, SingTel informed consumers on Monday that its initial shipment of the iPhone 3G is “almost exhausted”.” (story)
Looks like Singapore has many Apple fans. New and existing customers are signing up for contracts and on average are waiting up to 30 minutes to complete the process. Is this just a gadget fad? Data plans vary between 1GB and 3GB depending on the selected package. For those not lucky enough to get one analysts predict a new batch of phones should be available in 2 – 3 weeks.
