Beer gets model arrested

That’s all it took, one beer. A model (Muslim) was sentenced to 6 strokes by cane for having a beer at a bar in Pahang (Singapore). Under Islamic law she will be the first woman in Malaysia to be caned. Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, 32, pleaded guilty to the charges and was also fined 1,414 dollars. That’s one expensive beer! I hope it was the best beer ever!

The brave mother of 2 returned to Perak after learning of the warrant out for her arrest. Quite ridiculous in this day in age, however many still cling to outdated religious beliefs. Who am I to question what is right for others to believe? However it should be important to note that we used to stone people we thought were witches. Rules for breaking

It’s not hard to believe someone decided to do it. One of the things that allow Singaporeans to enjoy their country are the rules and regulations. Yes, they are strict and there are a lot of them but they serve a necessary service to ensure Singapore stays great. However rules are made to be broken.

The latest rule for MRT trains aims to curb trash and messes on public transit. However one lady got caught treating herself to a sweet and was promptly fined $30. Approximately 500 enforcement officers patrol commuter trains so rule breakers will be caught. Keep the trains clean and the floors unsticky.

This next story is hard to believe. In such a highly populated area, how could these 2 have sex in a public park? The pictures are circulating on the Internet and I’m sure someone knows who they are. Again going back to the whole “rules” thing, the more you have, the more likely people will be willing to break them. It’s a rush to do something “bad” or against the rules. Taboo almost. I hope the risque act was worth it.

Man jailed for upskirt photos

Lim Eng Koon was caught taking upskirt videos of a 19 year old model distributing flyers. The incident occurred June 3 last year at the Singapore Convention center. The young woman claimed she felt someone touch her thigh and saw Koon with his cell phone under her skirt.

He was quickly detained after a short chase with the help of security officers at the scene. Although this is his first offense the judge should place a strict sentence on him as these type of crimes are increasingly becoming more common. (story)
