H1N1 Vaccinations Available

Posted by jtsmyth8 on November 4, 2009

Approximately 200,000 doses of the H1N1 vaccine have gone out to clinics and hospitals all over Singapore. Many have already gone to their local clinics and received the shot. It normally takes 2 weeks after the shot for the body’s immune system to build up antibodies for the virus. Bottom line is you should get the shot. However even after receiving the shot you should still take the necessary precautions: wash your hands, cough/sneeze into a handkerchief, avoid spreading or catching any germs.

The vaccine is safe regardless of your diet, however you should consult your family doctor if you have other medical complications.
