Are you eating at a grade C food stall?

A stunning 80 stalls are now graded C according to the National Environment Agency (NEA). Only 3 received a B grade. The stalls were graded last December but many were still displaying their old marks. An NEA spokesman blamed delay mis-communication and internal complications. The quality of food concerns were raised after 2 people died from eating poisoned food from the food market. The poisoning was traced back to an Indian rojak stall there. 154 people came down with food poisoning after eating at the Rojak Geylang Serai stall on April 1.
Rojak Geylang Serai was graded C in 2007, but its stallholder continued to display its old B certificate, said NEA. (StraitsTimes)
